August 28, 20205 yr Considering that FSUIPC is already working with FS2020, I had good hopes that FS Duenna would, too, but I wasn't able to connect it. Does anybody have any updates on its status (or had success getting it to run with FS2020)?
October 1, 20205 yr Hey, I just saw this message. I guess that's me then.. I have MSFS2020 and I have yet to update the duenna to allow its use. I haven't had a chance to dig into its config files and such, it is quite a bit different from the other sims. I haven't updated it for P3Dv5 either yet. I was thinking of transitioning it to simconnect and dropping FSUIPC as its method of communication and dropping FS9 in the process however that might be a large code rewrite that I dont know if I'm willing to do. I'll have a gander this weekend again at FS2020 to see where its keeping its realism settings. Thanks
October 19, 20205 yr So I've been working on updating the Duenna. The issue I have right now is I am unable to find the files responsible for Flight Simulator settings so checking realism settings and such is not possible at the moment. Also, I'm not sure if its FSUIPC7 or my Duenna but its update rate seems to be quite slow pulling data from the sim. I dont have P3Dv5 so I dont know if it will work with that or not. I'm going to get my hands on 1 month of the developer copy of it to test and then should have an update out for at least P3Dv5 soon. Thanks,
October 21, 20205 yr Author Yeah, I've been wondering/worrying about that myself. How would you deal with all the possible "cheating" methods available now (especially if developer mode is enabled)? After all, there are multiple methods now to pause, teleport/slew, refuel, switch planes, and who knows what else... It'll be quite the challenge!
November 2, 20205 yr So I have updated the Duenna to version 3.0.2020.1002, you can download it now, just be sure to uninstall the old version. Let me know if anyone has any issues. This version will support P3D Version 5 however it will not support FS2020 yet. The issue is still trying to find realism settings in the new sim, some have said that it is store in the cloud. I hope not.
