August 28, 20205 yr Using the G1000's in planes like the DA40NG I've noticed adding say an approach to my already loaded VFR plan will sometimes add a USR waypoint and many times it's like 5-10 miles back the other direction. How, or is it even possible, to edit this and delete that USR waypoint? I tried hitting "CLR" and that wiped out the whole flightplan. During a flight last night that happened, and while trying to fix it I managed to apparently bug it out and cause a CTD which was very frustrating at the end of an hour flight and I had to bail for the night as I was landing basically just before calling it a night and going to bed. August 28, 20205 yr I think this is a known bug. See the nice analysis in this post: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/crash-to-desktop-without-error-message/130085/507 Try to report it if you can.

Thanks, yeah that's exactly what happened to me. I guess the only option for now would be either fly direct and if IFR get vectored in, or if going IFR then maybe put the approach in the flightplan and hope the weather doesn't change before you get there.
