  1. Have you tried different airports? There are some 3rd party airports that do not display approach waypoints (e.g. KBUF).
  2. Audioengin A2+ are great. Bose is not as good as they use to be.
  3. Yes, I did during taxi with a strong tail wind. Otherwise its fine.
  4. I have been using it regularly and am enjoying it. The only problem I have is CTD hitting "FLY" when loading it a second time. A work around is to load a different plane first. Otherwise, no problems.
  5. Greetings. I'm having a problem loading approaches for iniBuilds KBUF (recently updated). In the avionics, KBUF approaches appear on the list but fail to load in the map. Happens with all default planes using WT avionics (others?) and all approaches. I have tried many fixes with no luck. I would greatly appreciate if someone could confirm this is not on my end. Please try any default plane with WT avionics (e.g., anything with G1000nxi), and see if you can load in an approach listed and confirm it appears properly in the avionics map. Thank you.
  6. Those are old release notes from AAU02.
  7. I may be mistaken, but I remember seeing small flashes in the world map cloud layer when thunderstorms were too numerous in the early days.
  8. One problem I've been having with ATC is filing an IFR flight plan with ATC after creating it in the avionics (e.g., WT G1000). Sometimes I get the option in the ATC window and other times I don't. Otherwise, I'm currently okay with ATC.
  9. You can try loading it into the world map and then hit "Fly". It mostly works with the WT G1000, but the world map can mess things up occasionally.
  10. I feel your pain. I think the world map is broken, incomplete, and inconsistent in several ways. Unfortunately, fixing it does not seem to be a high priority. There are, however, some workarounds if your up for that.
  11. Importantly, WT is working on an avionics framework which I think will be the basis for much improved avionics.
  12. Incorporation of working title flight management system (avionics framework?) into other avionics (beyond NXi) and world map flight planning.
  13. I have had the same problem. I think when V and J airways overlap, ATC uses the J airway restrictions. That's my guess.
  14. Right now, I don't think you can unless you plan your flight directly using a custom FMS like in the NXi (or e.g. FBW custom FMS). I think this is supposed to be fixed soon, once they transition the NXi FMS to the world map.
  15. Now that Nvidia associated CTDs and etc. are fixed, Microsoft can go ahead and release the Beta (I wish).
  16. My understanding is that web "ASSEMBLY" is very low level. By hand or compiler, I don't think it matters too much these days.
  17. Maybe as a strategic partner ASOBO would like PMDG to use the built in flight planner (supposed to be fixed in February SU) similar to the way NXi does? Also, FBW-dev and WT-CJ4 have their own custom FMS and they have trouble gathering your flight plan from the built in flight planner due to, I believe, current limitations. Mabey PMDG is also stuck at this point? Just wondering of course.
  18. Broken flight planning (e.g. made up waypoints, turn-around bug, reshuffling flight plan, etc. )
  19. I wonder if its related to flight planning on the world map? Both FBW and WT-CJ4 are unable to reliably gather your flight plan info (SIDs, STARs, etc) from the world map (NAV LOG can't even do it reliably when you spawn C&D). I think that would be important for a quality modern airliner addon. The WT NXi, however, has it figured out so there is promise (February SU maybe?).
  20. Is this developer related to Phoenix Simulation Software “PSS“ in any way? A long time ago their A320 was one of my first addons and I loved it.
