January 1Jan 1 My last AIRAC records almost one year back. I use mainly Fenix. Is there a way to get the current AIRAC running that comes with MSFS 2024 updates via LIDO? I just don't want to get the Navigraph sub again, since it's quite expensive for that I won't be able to use it much. As far as I see they don't provide that AIRAC only package anymore? They had that in the past. Of course I could just subscribe montly every 3-4 months for 10 bucks, and then cancel, but that quite expensive for an AIRAC and it won't be up-to-date most of the time.
January 1Jan 1 This is a problem. Third party devs are not interested in using the built in nav data because it causes too many problems. They also say no one ever requests to integrate the built in nav data. Finally, they say outdated nav data is no big deal - you will rarely ever notice a difference. In my opinion, Microsoft should have used navigraph from the get-go. Edited January 1Jan 1 by tyrodes typo

January 1Jan 1 Navigraph’s integration with Simbrief and with several of the premier airliners’ EFBs make it fairly indispensable for significant flight planning, chart monitoring, etc. and add so much to the enjoyment of the hobby. But if the expense of a Navigraph subscription is a big con for you, I don’t think you would miss that much if you were to subscribe at 3 or 4 month intervals. Changes to content are actually quite minimal - a STAR name might change from BDEGA3 to BDEGA4 for example, but it’s still obvious which one to select. Rich

Rich Honestly, I love their products and I think it's worth the price, though I would appreciate if it were a little cheaper. For me it's just not worth at the moment, since I won't have much time using it. Maybe just more people need to request third party devs to integrate the MSFS AIRAC into their aircraft. Anyway, thank for confirming that there is no other option right now.

It's one more subscription to worry about. Also, uninstalling, reinstalling, updating etc. Navigraph data and apps are quite often necessary steps when debugging issues.
