A lot of it depends on the time of day-and the condition of the water. I live on a lake-some days it even looks black(cloudy dark dayc)-some days green (especially in the late spring when algae comes)-to clear blue blue on a cloudless sunny day, and purple at sunset. However, I have to say I consider the new look an improvement though there is much area to vastly improve. One of the first things I noticed was going down the hudson river in New York how at one part the green got turbulent and then blended into a blue at a point in the river-kinda cool to see this now.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg

Some days it helps to be a bit colorblind with shades of green and brown!!!
