August 29, 20205 yr Has anyone figured out how to essentially inject flight plans into the sim yet? Perhaps this is easy to do, but I'm flying mainly in the King Air (and despite its oddities, I'm really enjoying it) and trying to edit the flight plan is a bear. For starters, even before I get in the plane, it doesn't SEEM like I can just copy a flight plan from say, Sim Brief (or other tool) and paste it into the World setup screen (am I missing something as this seems obvious). Once in the plane the interface of the plane's pseudo-G1000 touch screens are not very clear. I would definitely need a comprehensive youtube video on just how to create and edit a flight plan there. I'm mainly a VATSIM flier and once SimConnect is ironed out I'd like to fly there, but won't until I can get over this hurdle as their controllers often amend a submitted plan or change it entirely. Without knowing how to do this, I'd run into brick walls quickly there. i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays. Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle Quadrant, CH Pedals.
August 29, 20205 yr Use simbrief to make your flight plan (it has a fs2020 download) and load it when you get to the world map. It has a load/save option at the bottom.

I just realized the one negative to this is that SimBrief can't connect to FS2020 to get its navdata which means I need to pay AIRAC data again. Ugh. I wonder if the SDK would allow a provider like SimBrief to create plans and use their navdata? Hmm... i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays.
