I purchased software for P3D (realturb) that simulated mountain wave effects. Having this feature straight out of the box is marvellous in this SIM. Hopefully a fix soon for the winds in the US & other places of the world. I do see turbulence effects near hills and mountains just no wind. Max wind I’ve seen in the USA is 6kts. I trust you survived the landing in those 60+ winds. 😬 Edited August 31, 20205 yr by Iceman2

I have not attempted a landing , these winds came up as I was crossing some mountains at around 10k feet, it really was nuts. Going up and down , to the side. Pretty sure in the real world the plane would have ripped apart. Lucky the airport I am heading toward are reporting 5-10 , which is scary enough for landing 🙂 i7-8600k @ 3.70 GHz 16.0 GB Ram OS Win 10-64 bit Geforce GTX 1070
