So I know how to arm the A/T from the throttle levers but I haven't been able to consistently set the speed. Any tips?

Favorite aircraft currently: MSFS Savage Cub

Normally if I have trouble setting the speed I have accidentally set it (back) to FMS, rather than manual. 

Pretty easy to hit the wrong click spot on that one!
