Anyone else having license check issues?

Featured Replies

I've discovered that sometimes I will start the sim, and it will act like I have the regular version when I bought the premium-deluxe version. All of the extra planes (sr-22, etc) are gone. My internet has been a little glitchy lately, with brief dropouts happening a couple of times an hour. I'm assuming that I have an internet dropout right as it's checking to see if I have a license for the extra content, and I also assume that it must run two license checks (do you have a license for the base sim? Do you have a license for the expansion?) because it must be concluding that I have licensed *something* or it wouldn't let me fly anything. Usually if I restart the sim, the missing planes are restored.

Before I start asking questions over on the MS forum, I thought I'd see if anyone else has seen planes or other upgrade-version content disappear before. If it really is a licensing issue, that's kind of annoying. If it can't talk to the MS servers, it should assume my license status is whatever it was the last time it was checked.

Happened to me last night (non-steam version).. Went from 31 planes, to 21 planes because the premium content disappeared. Closed the sim, restarted it and the content was back.
