custom database

I am wondering if its possible to create a separate ai folder specifically for lorby live traffic. my idea is to have normal traffic (aig flight plans) for scheduled airlines. and use lorby live traffic for charter flights (such as an-124s for example).

the documentation says its possible to create a custom model database by clicking on the "custom radio button". however "custom radio buttion" is nowhere to be found.

Hello,

sounds like you are looking at an old documentation. Where did you get it? The split into separate databases has been gone for a while now. LLTX will just scan your simulator and list all the aircraft that it finds.

LLTX can only use aircraft that have been assigned proper aircraft and airline ICAO codes in LLTX. So the easiest way to achieve what you want is to doubleclick into the airline column and delete the code for the aircraft that you don't want to use.

Best regards

ok thanks. also, when I right click an aircraft in the model assignment database, I get the unhandled exception error.

OK, but what exception exactly? There should be a "Details" button on the exception notice window. I would need the first 30 lines of that text. And a screenshot would be nice of the item you are clicking on. This sounds like something is missing from the datasets.

Best regards

Right. That's obviously a bug. Uploading LLTX to the website takes a bit of an effort, so I will just send you a link to my devel version (where the bug is fixed).

Strange that nobody noticed this before.

Thank for the pointer!
