September 3, 20205 yr I am a new user to MS 2020 and have been told that I can create custom flight plans that I can use with MS 2020. I see that there is a Manual that can me downloaded as a PDF. Can anyone provide me with a link to allow me to download it and learn to use LIttleNavMaps. Thanks in Advance, Otrman AKA Henry
September 4, 20205 yr You can download manuals in multiple languages here: https://albar965.github.io/manuals.html
September 4, 20205 yr All help buttons (also blue with question mark) and the help menu in LNM point to the respective manual chapters in the online manual. There is no difference between the PDFs and the conline manual. The content is the same. Have a look at the tutorials (online and in the PDF) which are linked in the help menu. These give a good start - hopefully. Screenshot below shows all places where to get help in the program. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
September 4, 20205 yr Author Thank you both for your reply. I did find it but I would like to download the actual PDF file to my computer so I can copy it to me tablet and take it with me to study before I actually try to use it to create flight plans for my MS 2020 version of the Cessna Skyhawk1000. I won't go into a lot of details here but I am in my 80s with somewhat limited abilities and having it available for study using my tablet first fits my physical/learning capabilities. September 4, 20205 yr Henry, Within the LNM program in the Help tab there is an area named (Contents, offline PDF). Click on that and it will lead you to a 271 page Little Navmap User Manual in PDF format, just save the pdf file and transfer to your tablet however that is accomplished. That should keep you occupied for a bit.....😊 See Alex's screen shot above within "help." September 5, 20205 yr Author I did find the manual and am attempting to create a simple flight plan to use with MS 2020. I am told that I can create a PLN file that I can somehow integrate with my Cessna Skyhawk1000. By simple, I mean just taking off from my home airport KLDJ Linden NJ, VFR flying to 4 points of interest (already have the GPS for them) and then returning to KLDJ I am stuck on a tutorial that comes with the package and cannot even get it to delete entries in a flight plan I am trying to create - so am looking for an alternate approach. Is there a I can input KLDJ, followed by the GPS lat/lon for the 4 points of interest, then KLDJ and create a PLN file. If I can do that, the next step is to make the Cessna aware of the plan and get into the air. I have experience with xp11 setting up flight plans using iflightplanner, creating a FMS file, then copying it into the xp11 directory with all the flight plans. I just type everything in. I have also created flight plans by bending the magenta line. I learn by taking small steps and building on those results. Any help greatly appreciated. Otrman AKA Henry
September 5, 20205 yr Henry, LNM does not support MSFS officially yet. Keep this in mind. To delete flight plan entries right click on a flight plan waypoint in the map or in the flight plan table and select "Delete ...." To add an arbitray point like a point of interest right click into the map and select "Add to flight plan ..." (or similar). Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
