November 1, 200619 yr Hello,Where have these gone in FSX: 1. Device.cfg 2. Pan_rate (was in the config file in FS9) to control V/C pan rate - mine is too fast for me in FSXThanks in advance,Ron Sagel
November 2, 200619 yr Author Hi Ron,There is no devices.cfg in FSX. The functions of that file must be handled by some other function...Pan rate for each camera can be set in the particular description section of cameras.cfg (NOT the one in the root FSX folder, but the one in docs and settingsuserapp datamicrosoftfsx). You will find that some cameras have defined pan rates and some don't. Add them manually to the views that can have motion. Install and read the SDK info on the new camera functions. The Cameras.cfg in the root folder is for rebuilding a damaged cfg file for your username. Don't edit it -- or if you do, be sure you have an unaltered backup. That file if FSX's backup.Look for the bit about UNLOCKING the tower view so you can look around the airport. Gotta love it!Loyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
