Increasing monitor frequency reduce stutters (with Gsync)

Featured Replies

Funny findings last night....    When having Gsync (and therefore Vsync) on in the Nvidia Control Panel, increasing the monitor (TV in my case) frequency to 100Hz, maintained the same fps in XP11 (35/70 depending on the location and plane) have almost completemy remove the stutters I could get at 60Hz....  rather weird considering that Gsync would adapt the frequency to the fps... meaning that if you get 40 fps, setting 60 or 100Hz should not change anything as the display would go down to 40 hz....  anyway, I am happy with that finding....  (I actually discover it while forcing 100Hz in Xplane and have now since then setup my NCP and Windows 10  to 100HZ.

too much, too soon....

everyone experiences stutter differently.

Grandpa sunday drivers are stutter free at 25fps

Dean Harrison would find 140fps a stutterfest
