Go north up I-75 ONLY 40 minutes and longer, and you start to hit the largest concentration of Equine Activity (Oakland County) IN ALL OF THE UNITED STATES PER CAPITA. This is an absolute fact. Geofa will most likely back this one up if he is, or his wife is at all into horses. With even 'Gen' set to low, it then busts me down to the 12's.That has been for my system, to be the greatest hit on the frames.I'd rather do without and have some sense of animation to the flight experience. It's pretty cool that you can get away with it. I would if I could!The greatest sense of disbelief for myself though, has been road traffic. This of itself is fantastic. What's usually the FIRST thing anybody notices as they climb out aboard commercial flights?You bet...the highways and its road traffic feeding around, and into the airport property. Coming in upon final and almost near the threshold, I know that it is the road traffic that my eye darts to. I'm really starting to appreciate FSX as I finally have frame rates that you seriously can control the aircraft with, and not just 'game' it with a hope and prayer. (smile).Cheers!Mitch R.

Hey, no problem. Everybody's system and expectation is different. I thought just to post what was working for my mid-to-high Pent. 4 and let others work around it, or see if their same-spec'ed system gave the same range of FPS low-to-high numbers.I CAN put AUTO GEN on at its lowest setting, but again, my MEDIAN 19 FPS drops to the steady 12's and occasionally lower.Mitch R.
