September 12, 20205 yr Hello! I would just like to warn those installing from Steam that the reported disk space needed (1 GB) is complete BS. That reported size is just for the installer, which then downloads another 160+ GB. Although you can choose where to put the additional content, I really wish Steam would force developers to report the full size requirement. Edited September 12, 20205 yr by ramiss
September 12, 20205 yr You have to be a thorough noob when it comes to gaming to believe that MSFS requires only 1 gig of space. In fact, Steam is correct: it only downloads 1 gig. When you click on the game for the first time, it downloads the rest from the Microsoft servers.

Yes he's probably a "noob", something you would have noticed if you took care to check that it's his first post. And he makes a good point. New posters should receive a better welcome here, not an aggressive one. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

September 12, 20205 yr Author Now, now. No need for name calling. Note that I am both warning actual noobs and pointing out a flaw in "the system". For the record, I've been flying MS FS since version 1.0 on the 8088, have written several commercial utilities for the hosting industry as well as a Windows server admin since 2004. I haven't posted on here because I've never needed to. Apparently I should have left well enough alone since the replies appear to be less than mature. Edited September 12, 20205 yr by ramiss
