AP altitude bug

Featured Replies

I've seen this before...anyone else?

The AP will descend down to pressure altitude and not the altitude you've got dialed in.  In this case (along the line with my real world wx issue), I've set the correct nearest airport altimeter (real world not according to the sim), and selected 5000.  But the AP levels off a certain amount of feet above it.  The real one would level off at 5000....even if your altimeter is incorrect.

Looks like your speed is too high to allow the rest of the descent to take place..  have you tried throttling back some until you hit the 5k?

No that's not it.  The AP will descend at 200 kias +

There's definitely an issue with altimeter and how the AP works lol.

When I press STD on the baro knob, it changes the altimeter to what flightsim says it is, NOT 29.92 inHg like it should.  STD is ISA  =29.92 / 1013,25 mb.

This is the issue I had above in the G1000.  There's probably some coding error somewhere...
