I was quite happy about MSFS and almost never had any CTD before this patch.
I downloaded it this morning, went for a quick test flight and had a CTD as soon as I switch to external camera. Whatever aircraft I used, the scenario is always the same and easy to reproduce: as soon as I press the key for external camera, the image freezes and... CTD.

Do some of you have the same?

No problem ony side. Make sure you aren't using any mods

No fine - I switch between external and cockpit all the time.

No problem as yet, and I hammer that camera system 😄

OK, good to know. Something must be wrong on my system... The only mod I had was Uwa Light mod for the King Air. I just removed it and now the sim does not even start... It crashes to desktop before starting the flight. 

I also have the Paderborn airport scenery from Aerosoft (free). I don't think this can crash the sim. 

I will probably re-install it all. 

When things go wrong, they keep going wrong...

I used Steam client to check the files integrity, just to make sure the patch was correctly installed. After a few minutes, he told me all files were OK. In fact, it has deleted all my packages... Of course everything is OK, because nothing is on my disk any more... Now I just have to re-download everything.

After all, this may be the best solution...

After re-installing all the package files (106 GB), it works fine again 🙂

After reading about all the inconveniences reported after this patch will make me stay away from all "Mods" in the future.

Wise decision, but it's a pity because some are good. Even if I had problems, I will reinstall Uwa Light Mod for night lighting, it is so convenient. 

Today I can't tell if the mods were the reasons of my update problem. I was doing some heavy stuff on my PC (with Photoshop) when the update triggered automatically. I couldn't interrupt while the update was running, there might have been some conflict when installing the files, I don't know. Next time I will do nothing else on my PC when the update is running.
