P2A / Navigraph database differences?

Featured Replies

Greetings all!  Having a great time with P2A!  It took a bit to get everything up and running, but wow.  Very impressed!

I also pickup a sub. to Navigraph so that the database could be updated etc.  I actually find it easier to make the flight plans inside of p2A LOL.  But, one thing I have noticed.  If I do make the plan in p2A and then export the *.pln file..  then, import to NG Charts.. I get errors on things that dont match.   This is confusing, as they both are on the same airac.  Is this normal?

There's something about FS2020's flight plans that I haven't been able to figure out. I can create a flight plan in Simbrief and export it to MSFS 2020 and P3Dv5. When I import that same flight plan into P2A the P3D plan is fine but the MSFS 2020 shows additional waypoints in P2A that take you way off course. I'm not sure what causes this. The flight plan was not created using MSFS 2020's flight planner. I also have Navigraph's latest Airac installed in MSFS 2020.

If you export the the flight plan as an FMS (Xplane11) and then import it to Navigraph Charts you'll get way less errors. I still get some errors where charts wont recognize SIDs and STARs. It adds them as waypoints. Easy fix though in charts. Delete the error and add the SID, or STAR manually.

Quick mention. If anyone uses Little Navmap I use the same technique as mentioned above.

So, I assume this is an issue with Navigraph Charts.
