Paderborn to Hamburg

Featured Replies

So despite all the bugs I've encountered with most of the aircraft so far in msfs 2020, I'm still having a ton of fun with the TBM at least as it has given me zero issues other than overcompensating even worse since patch 2 in FLC mode.  Here's my flight "tonight" (real time over there though) from Paderborn to Hamburg.  This is at cruise near a storm in the area, and then on approach.  Gorgeous approach with the clouds and the windfarm at one point.  Only wish I had HDR for this.  Sim is running 1440p most settings at high and a few at Ultra including clouds.  Locked to max of 40 in NCP, and with the glass cockpit setting now in the sim and set to medium I don't dip below 30 anywhere even in the 787.  (would run unlocked, but need another radiator to handle the heat output)

On approach, you can see windmills to the right of the nose through the clouds.

Not sure what this real traffic AI plane though he was doing, but he at least managed to get off the runway before I got told to go around or something.  Also, my 3rd landing with my new Honeycomb vs my 16 year old X52.  Wow, I can't believe I haven't used a yoke until now.  I greased the landing perfectly.

Really glad, you've found this (nice) TBM to be doing the job...for you...(I was a bit disappointed to hear of the (adverse) side effects of the last Patch...hope for the best...)....

Excellent series of pictures, here, off Germany....!!

Thanks!  I'm sort of doing a trip through Europe I guess.  Flew from Hamburg to Copenhagen last night.  Not sure where I'm going tonight.  Might do some night flying in the US or shift the time and test out progress on the A320 flybywire project since they have supposedly fixed the breaking bugs introduced to the A320 with the last patch.
