hi allis there any way to reduce the size of the actual scenery files? for example my folder msfx/scenery/world/texture folder is 4.63gig full of bmps and is huge!

Yes there is but at a price. Those files are used for the ground, water and a few other things so if you reduce them although you might see an increase in fps the ground textures will look bad (the price). BTW the ones that start with numbers are ground textures the rest are pretty obvious. I wonder what would happen if I deleted them all mwhahaha.Andrew Brown
