Benchmarks are out - GTX 3090 is marginally better than the GTX 3080 due to CPU bottle neck. It would be prudent to save $1500 and go with the 3080 if you’re only getting a 5% boost in performance. Benchmarks follow:

Yep, I'm not even sure it's time to upgrade from a 1070, MFS (and Control, but I don't care about that game) is the only game that goes below 60fps at 3440x1440, all settings cranked up to 11 in the other games.
