September 26, 20205 yr Hello all, I have seen numerous posts commenting on the quiet in this forum since the release of MSFS. So, I thought I'd drop some links to a bunch of freeware for out-of-the-way destinations that I think are well worth visiting. A lot of these were excellent freeware sceneries developed for FSX. Now, the guy from Simnershome has gone the extra mile and actually made them compatible with v5! I highly recommend them. Also, recently I found that somebody had finally released a nice version for Kabul Intl Airport! There is hardly any good documentation for this airport so reproducing it in the sim has been impossible, for the most part. yet now somebody has released a decent-looking version of it. This is for v4, but may work in v5... Haven't tested this version at all yet. Note that for some of them P3Dv4 sceneries do exist. It's a;ways good to check back here: https://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx.html This is an amazing website that lists a lot of the freeware and payware scenery out there, and it's regularly updated (there is a separate webpage that shows what's been updated - that's how I found out about these sceneries) Hope this is helpful to anyone! September 27, 20205 yr I like his (Simmershome) work, but in the past I've found his registration requirements to be...let's say “over the top“. He wanted to know my real name and address. Is that still the case? Mind you that they are all based on originals that can be downloaded from Avsim.su, which should be v4 compatible.
