  1. This is the way it was set up until I had to change it a few years ago for another add-on. The sound output is divided between speakers (engines, weather etc.) and a head-set (ATC, FO, instruments if possible). It's not the end of the world, but up until a few months ago it worked pretty well. On the last flight, I again had the problems only on approach (no freq change before, contacted tower too soon). The rest was flawless. Any ideas?
  2. A follow-up: 1) On the last flight, most parts worked better. FO knew about ATIS, delivery and ground freqs. After handing over coms to him, he handled them almost flawlessly (which, when it works, is awesome!), only once "forgetting" to change frequency before contacting. I did come across a different issue: After approach gives the instruction to contact tower when established, the FO contacts tower immediately, which is too early. 2) I changed the output sound device for MCE in the Windows settings, but it didn't help. Voices are correctly sent to my head-phones, the background noise comes from the default output device, a set of speakers
  3. Good evening, I have two problems with MCE and need advice. 1) My FO often doesn't seem to know which frequency he needs to dial in. If I ask him to set ATIS, he asks for the frequency. Often also for delivery. Ground and tower often work, but in the air, and with FO handling the coms, it continues, albeit a little bit differently: We get a new frequency to contact, and FO acknowledges correctly. He then waits a second and contacts the next facility - but a lot of times without changing to the new frequency. I have checked the clearance.log, it's being created. 2) The transmission sound (low/med/high) is sent to the wrong sound device. The voice is sent correctly to the device I have chosen and configured, but the transmission (background?) sound is also sent to the default output sound device. Kind regards, "Dieter"
  4. I've been seeing it lately for their Augsburg airport scenery...
  5. Is there a (fictional?) ANA livery for the 777-200LR base package?
  6. I see them in FS20
  7. Thank you for your work! Could you please give me pointers to this? I searched but couldn't find it.
  8. I am not him, but I also find MSFS more clunky to use. In P3D, it's a few clicks to do the settings and set up a flight. It is partially due to more functionality in MSFS (which I don't want, but that's another story), but I also find I have to click more to configure it and set up each flight, and there are functions, especially for the views, that seem to have their own mind. I am a big fan of P3D's simplicity.
  9. I had the FC Scenery files on an internal HDD for a test-flight, but there were constant micro-stutters, so I copied them to a NVMe, and all was good. I've seen GUI hangs lately, but I'm still investigating that. Could be another add-on.
  10. For me, a few days ago, the links to ask for Google Drive access arrived very quickly. After asking for access it took about 24 hours for it to be activated.
  11. Unfortunately, in the Aerosoft forum there is another report that 25H2 didn't solve the problem. Frustrating.
  12. It is, it's a program for Windows.
  13. I have also downloaded a number of their files for compatibility and dynamic lighting and would contribute...
  14. Ah, that is not what I was hoping to hear... 😞
  15. Thanks. Does either of these (preferably FSHud, as I still also use P3D) also provide the check-list possibility?
  16. Hello, I am looking for a replacement for the ATC add-on I use at the moment for IFR flights with multi-crew ops, which is PF3 in combination with MCE. Both programs together give me relatively reliable ATC, and a capable FO, which can provide check-lists and deal with said ATC. But sadly, PF3 is not being further developed, and it seems the dev has capped support (forum offline). Can FSHud, maybe with an additional add-on, be a replacement for these types of flights?
  17. So, there is news. A user reported on the Aerosoft forum that Windows 25H2 fixed the problem for him. Waiting for more reports, but I might be updating my installation a little quicker than usual!
  18. 25H2 seems to be around the corner. Hope it will fix this issue...
  19. Pushing flights with the Airbus. Not difficult, flying PMDG's and Majestic's excellent offerings instead. But I do hope I will be able to use the Airbus again later this year...
  20. Is there any news on whether this fix will eventually find it's way into the regular updates?
  21. Thanks. I don't have it. Watched a few videos, and I didn't notice streamers coming across anything significant missing during normal procedures, which would be pretty good for that price.
  22. Today I might have noticed something regarding the issue with the FO contacting the next facility without changing frequencies first: I think this might only happen when the next facility doesn't have a name. So: "Contact Vienna radar" works, but "contact radar" doesn't. The FO reads both back the same way, but in the latter case he doesn't dial in the next frequency before. Does that make any sense? This was with V3.1.2.2.
  23. Try limiting your frame-rate.
