October 13, 2025Oct 13 Greetings fellow P3D users, I have small question regarding MFSG products, recently I have been receiving multiple emails regarding updates to purchased MFSG products. All of these updates are decimal point updates (1.7 -> 1.7.1) Quote at simMarket you can now find an update or new version of your product: MFSG - BRUNEI INTL WBSB FS2004 FSX P3D3-5 Usually MFSG would detail changes in the email notifying users of updates to purchased products, however these latest updates do not contain any information on what has changed. So the question is, has anyone been able to figure out what might have been changed/updated in these latest versions of MFSG products? PS. I have tried looking at the MFSG Facebook page for additional information however, they don't seem to post much these days (Luckily the still make sceneries for P3D though!) Kind Regards, Peter
October 14, 2025Oct 14 Update info can be found in the Simmarket App. The app can be downloaded from the Simmarket site for desktop. I don't know how to find change logs on the desktop website.
October 14, 2025Oct 14 I have a file named P3Dv5_WBSB_Dynamic_Light_Update_v1.2. Maybe this new update (v1.2.1) combines the original scenery with the Dynamic light update? Edit: I think this maybe it, because I don't see the dynamic light update file in my downloads. Edited October 14, 2025Oct 14 by Joseph29

I think you are right, I downloaded the full WBSB install and compared the current files with the latest one and it seems the 'ctrl' files in the Dynamic Lighting folder have been altered! Thanks for the help! Kind Regards, Peter
October 14, 2025Oct 14 Moderator I have this airport and received the email about the update. You have to give credit to the author for keeping his scenery up to date. I’ll defer updating until any of you report back with your views as to whether it makes a reasonable difference. Ray (Cheshire, England). October 15, 2025Oct 15 MFSG updated a bunch of their sceneries. A lot are dynamic light updates, but others are some big updates. Like one of his Japan airports (I forgot which one it was) adds a recently opened new terminal. Use the Simmarket app and it tells you what the updates are.

I’m not installing an app on my smartphone to access this info. This info should be available via a computer. Ray (Cheshire, England). But this info should still be available by other means. Ray (Cheshire, England). October 15, 2025Oct 15 Moderator Just because you're old doesn't mean you know everything! 😁 Having downloaded the SimMarket executable I can now see the reason for the Brunei update. Improved dynamic lighting. But far more importantly I have 13 updates available for previous purchases! So this executable is useful. Ray (Cheshire, England). October 21, 2025Oct 21 I am very impressed that MSFG continues to improve and release updates free of charge as they do - it is not the norm with sceneries and I appreciate their commitment to their products. An honest and reasonable developer that goes beyond what is expected in my opinion. Kudos to MSFG, and if you are reading this, thanks for brining many airports I fly to in P3D to life :)
