September 28, 20205 yr Trying to MSFS to follow the blue line I set as dep/arr instead of the white (GPS) line. Tried all flight scenarios nothing seems to take. ???? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
September 28, 20205 yr Did you make sure the CDI setting was on GPS if using GPS, or on VOR if using radio navigation. Seems the default aircraft start up set to VOR. The only time I had such an issue I found I was in VOR mode and should have been in GPS mode. CDI selection. September 30, 20205 yr Author I did make use of the CDI function in which I change it to Approach/LOC-1 when I get close to the airport of choice. However, I have to try to map a way point that at least lines up with the ILS runway of choice, otherwise the ILS approach sequence won’t automatically line up with the runway. Very annoyed to say the least! Another issue I found (Cessna 172 Glass) is that when coming out of AP, the aircraft doesn’t respond well. The Elevators and general aircraft handling gets messed up, ultimately making flight almost impossible to recover from. another bug Perhaps!?
