Live Traffic Question

Featured Replies

I have just selected Live Traffic and sat on the ramp at London Gatwick (EGKK).  Looking at Flightradar24 there was only one aircraft on the gate I think it was EZ8406 but after a few minutes I saw this aircraft on approach, so my first question - is there a significant time lag between real world and what appears in MSFS.  Also I noticed a large number of aircraft at various gates in MSFS, are these just AI generated by MSFS.

it appears both live weather and traffic have a certain delay, yeah

Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."

The few times I have checked this, I've found flights coming in to land around 10 minutes after Flightrader and Plane Tracker show them as touching down. I also often find that when I click Live Weather, the time is 20 to 40 minutes ahead of the actual time (UTC) and I have to manually set it back to the current time.
