September 30, 20205 yr I am posting on here rather than the MSFS forum as I might get more "technical" help from the serious sim community (sorry if I have offended anyone) This is driving me nuts! Simple issue, I am often running out of "up elevator/trim" on final approach leading to a descent below glide, odd trim position (often full up trim), and being unable to resolve even when power is applied.(I cant get the nose up to power out, so just overspeed) I load up fuel as per Simbrief. I amend CofG to be within parameters, redistributing baggage and bods to get a "middle of the road" MAC. CofG range is quoted in the fuel page as 16%---40% MAC. If all of that is correctly done, I would have expected trim settings to be pretty much in the green, especially during cruise. I have tried both a forward and rear CofG flights. Is this just the poor modelling of the Neo in MSFS, or am I doing something stupid? (I have many hours in X-plane, and 3000hrs of real GA flying) Thanks in advance
September 30, 20205 yr This is not a trim issue, my friend, you are experiencing a very common issue with elevator authority on short finals, which has been discussed in many posts.
