November 1, 20205 yr @conradsm only those buttons that have a function assigned to them will work. Check MCP page. Also for the MSFS2020 there are a limited number default functions that can logically be used for what you ask about. This is why many buttons have no default assignment. November 10, 20205 yr Thanks Andrew - I assume I must do the programming of the buttons in LINDA and not FSUIPC 7 (recently bought a license for it). Edited November 10, 20205 yr by Conradasman
November 22, 20205 yr tesler8, I am in the same boat you were in. I have an MCP1 with a registered copy of FSUIPC7 and LINDA 4.0.3. I have installed the VRInsight base package and MCP Combo module. VRIsim and SerialFP2 do not detect my device. The driver is loaded and on COMM3. Linda reports that my VRinsight MCP Combo is ok! FSUIPC does not recognize my device or allow me to assign any functions. I have 8 GoFlight Modules and CH Products yoke, pedals, throttle, and stick that all work fine. This thing is making me really angry. Please help. Would like to take the MCP off "night light/sculpture" status and have it functional. Thank you to an awesome community!
November 23, 20205 yr @Conradasman as mentioned in the LINDA 4.x download thread and elsewhere, support for MSFS2020 is limited to the original default functions. The functions you ask about will not be available until Microsoft grant access to LVars at some future point. The radios should work for most uses (eg VATSIM). It depends on the aircraft designer using the default radio implementation. If not the VC radio panels may not be updated.
