What is everyone's thoughts on using the above monitor with FS instead of a 34" 4096*2160?   I'm actually struggling with my sim setups right now and trying to figure out what should go where.  My driving sim rig was a triple 27" 1920*1080, I got the 49 inch to replace the triples but the issue is the FOV.  I was used to 176 with the triples, reduced to 106 with the 49 so I lose my right mirror.  The realism is mind blowing from a "what I see" perspective but the FOV is really bothering me... Hence I am thinking of going BACK to a triple 27" setup for my racing rig.

Would the Ultrawide be better suited for FS?  Would the Horizontal pixel gain offset the vertical pixel loss?  Does FS recognize 32:9 and scale?  Before I dismount this from my sim rig in the basement and re-mount on my FS rig upstairs I would love some feedback.

Thx!!

After about 10 years, I finally converted from 3X24 Dells to the Samsung 49 CRG90 5120*1440@120Hz. I have no regrets and very happy with the change. In my opinion, elimination of the dreaded bezels far outweighs the vertical tradeoff. In the end, it's a subjective decision.

Thanks Les, no issues with scaling or anything?  Appreciate the feedback.  I know it is gaining horizontal pixels but losing 1/3 of the vertical pixels from 4K in the process.  Looks like I'll be moving some monitors around this weekend to test 🙂
