5th Runway at KATL

Featured Replies

I was just wanting to know if anyone knows whether or not they included the new 5th runway at Atlanta. I just went the other day to pickup my mom and for the first time in my life had a jet land on top of my head. It was the coolest thing. I don't know if you all know, but the new runway runs right over I-285, which is like a big huge circle around Atlanta. Why it's called an Interstate Highway I don't know. Anyway, if it is not in there, and hopefully some of the payware authors that do scenery will read this and hopefully think of adding it to their "to-do" list, I woud appreciate it, or freeware, either way, but I myself preer payware.

No, the runway was built / opened too late to be include in FSX.The airport and navigation data in FSX is approx April 2005.There is a fully functional FS2004 KATL with the fifth runway by Jim Vile in the Avsim library. And Jim is working on the FSX version.

Reggie, Are you following me?....lmao. Thanks again, very much appreciated. I guess you can tell I'm from near KATL and like to fly out of there. So I'd like it to be as close to what I know it to be as it can get, of course. I mean, that's why we're here right?

Hayden:Check the file library. I think someone has uploaded a file with the new runway added.maxsdad

Thank you max, much appreciated:-spacecraft
