October 11, 20205 yr Strange, after update to 2.6.13 P2ATC always checked the buttons response and frequency change automatically. If I unchecked it in the config (Speech) a few seconds later it is checkt again.Issue at both sims, MSFS and XP11. Need some help. Thanks Sonja
October 11, 20205 yr Commercial Member You must have a button or hotkey assigned to the new "Respond to Radio" HotKey or Button on the Speech tab of config.
October 11, 20205 yr Author Hi Dave, thanks for the quick support. I have now assigned a Hotkey and restart P2ATC .But the solution works only sometimes. When I checked one of the two fields (response or change...) it seems okay, but when I open the config again, both are checked again, or sometimes both are unchecked. Also when I restart P2ATC. Every time I open the config>speech there is an other setting at the both fields > both checked sometines one checked ore both unchecked...
October 11, 20205 yr Commercial Member You need to CLEAR both the button and hotkey assignments so this behavior stops. If you have them set, then the options will toggle on and off every time you hit the key or button. Dave
October 12, 20205 yr Author Thanks, that works, but only for one session. After relaunch I have to do the same. But that doesn't matter, because I now know what I have to do.Or is it a better idea to deinstall und then reinstall the new version? Sonja
October 12, 20205 yr Commercial Member If you're not on version 2.6.1.3, then you should install the update. If the setting is not holding when you shut down and restart, your AppConfig.xml file may be corrupt. Try deleting that file to see if it fixes that problem. It is located at: c:\users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Settings\AppConfig.xml where <UserName> is your PC user name. Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab. Dave
October 12, 20205 yr Author Thanks Dave, I will try it. In the meantime I have found a way to activate all the Win10 TTS voices. Now I have about 15 different voices, also some with a funny dialect. P2ATC is really a great tool. Thanks for it! Sonja
