October 11, 20205 yr ms flight sim 2020 lose controls when communicate with tower. The plane continues to fly, but I have not joystick inputs until about 1 minute or so passes, then all is back to normal. The plane flies well while I have no controls, but may lose altitude if not trimmed. But, after a minute, plus or minus 20 seconds, the controls come back and al is good. My computers system is built for gaming and high speed internet too. Say I want to land, I will go into comms menu, and say I am in the loop for landing, or on final, then after I press the enter key with the message in the msfs 2020 menu, then comes the minute when I have no controls. Computer itself is ok, not freezing,, no BSOD, just only this issue. Thanx.
October 11, 20205 yr Maybe a problem with your sound <?>. Try tweaking your settings - - in MSFS and also your system.
October 18, 20205 yr Author will check, and get back.. thanx... I am usually busy flying my other flight sims,, the combat type, shooting and blowing up the enemy ..lol
October 18, 20205 yr this may solve your problem ..., If yourATC is a pop out window; when you mouse click on the ATC reply it looses focus on the main window causing the controller not to respond. After clicking on the response; click back on the main window
October 18, 20205 yr Author ok, so I turned off the sounds connected to the online extras,,,,I forgot the name of it (AZURA ?), but nonetheless, it was sounds.... my guess is while my computer is pretty good, the cpu is the bottleneck. and I have everything maxed out, mostly. so for now, all is good. I don't have my computer spec sin my sig, but I have a Nvidia 2080-ti video, 32 gb ddr4 ram, etc..etc... fast Internet, etc.. my cpu is only 3.8 ghz turbo. Most people are running 4.8 ghz turbo that need the speed, power... so another thing to buy... I wouldn't run this unless I could run high settings, would miss the graphics of this sim and the others I fly. Thanx again... Edited October 18, 20205 yr by retiredat44
