A320 Speed / Alt restrictions

Featured Replies

Is there a way to enter a speed restriction on a Star in the MCDU?  I am used to the FSlabs (and real way i think) to click on the right buttons on the MCDU at the waypoint and enter what you need.  For example on the TRTLL 5 into KORD i need to cross TRTLL at 11000.  Normally i'd go to the flight plan page in the MCDU, scroll to TRTLL, enter /110 and enter that next to the waypoint and it should calculate and change to meet that.  In 2020, it took me to a different page when I clicked the button but couldn't find where to enter it.  I have had to do this on many flights because majority of the stars i have flown have incorrect speed and alt.

Sort of, sometimes, if you have the A32NX mod. Speed and altitude constraints don't work properly but they do work a bit. Annoyingly, waypoints that are part of the STAR seem to work the least well. I show how it's done at 9:57 on my A320 Cold & Dark to Pushback tutorial video:
