A320 Mod - Future Wishlist / current INOP - not working

Featured Replies

First off, I think most would agree that the A320 mod is great and will continue to evolve.  I think MSFS2020 will do the same as well.  I thought I would start a thread to discuss what folks would like to have implemented or fixed as the mod improves daily.  I have not been able to complete a flight without some sort of annoying issue pop up that I would love to have fixed so I thought I would start a list.  If something is currently implemented and is shown below, let me know what needs to be done to resolve. This is by no means any knock on the developers.  I think what they are doing is great.

- Managed Modes not following climb and descent correctly - I have had it where I will be descending on a Star to an altitude and all of the sudden the plane will increase thrust and climb

- steep turns to get on course with A/P on

- Altitude/speed restrictions not following correctly

- no top of descent

- too much thrust needed to start to taxi

- RNAV approaches - not followed correctly and no vert ref

- not able to fly with "the bird" (trk / fpa inop)

- Packs inop

- manually entering altitude and speed restrictions doesn't always work / not realistic

- DIR To doesn't always seem to work

- no ETA's on flight plan - distance to arrival doesn't change

Let me know if any of these are working for you or if you have some to add to the list!

Your list is mine, esp. that last one about ETAs which to me is basic 101 MCDU and yet is not functional, but I use LittleNav anyway and shine it on. I shine all of the bugs on you pointed out and I enjoy the Mod about 90% as much as I enjoyed XP's Zibo 737 mod. MSFS is not a short-hop flight, it's a long haul journey, very long I think. When you look at it, XPlane is forever a beta in development. P3D, a long term beta always in development. MSFS a sim and will never be finished,  always in beta and yet I enjoy every bit of it. No, I don't have CTD's and the few I have I think were brought on by hardware issues that I solved one by one. I enjoy positive threads, so thank you!
