FLPN Locked?

Featured Replies

Hello, yesterday i updated the database with the new one published for the airplane that i fly in real life, a new message appears saying: flight plan locked due to database update.

Some of the flight plans within catalog are not usable due to this.

Any suggestion to get ride of this?.

Thanks

Do you have published departures, arrivals, or approaches in the flight plans?  Especially for departures and arrivals the names sequence over time and so they sequence in the database updates.  OZARK7 after a while becomes OZARK8.  That then creates a mismatch with a saved flight plan.  That is just an example.  I long since learned to save flight plans without procedures.  Especially in the GTN series they are so quick and easy to add after loading the basic flight plan.
