October 20, 20205 yr I just sent an email to Honeycomb about this. The preorder is long sold out, and clearly a great many people just ordered the units to re-sell on eBay - at double and triple the price! https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1311&_nkw=honeycomb+bravo&_sacat=0 If this infuriates you as much it does me: [email protected] These people should have their orders yanked and given to someone who actually wants the product, not to rip people off! And it's easy to figure out who they are if Honeycomb wants to. They give their locations in the eBay listing. How many orders do you suppose they have from Colleyville, TX? Outrageous.
October 20, 20205 yr All I know about this situation is that Honeycomb said they'd cancelled all orders for more than one unit. Unfortunately, they can't really stop anyone from reselling the unit they get, especially as it won't be illegal for them to do so, nor is it going to be too easy to police people ordering to more than one address. As for ebay listings giving an address, I suppose they could claim they were selling an additional unit "for a friend". I'm annoyed by it too, having had an order from Amazon for the Alpha cancelled twice due to it being "no longer available" from the supplier, in their words. It's left me in limbo regarding trying to get a new controller for MSFS. Having people ripping others off using their product isn't good for business IMHO.

Like I say, I feel your pain, but as it took nearly 3 weeks to reply to my concerns, I'd say they are struggling to keep on top of things, prioritising existing customers' issues above prospective new customers.
