I am also frequently getting the "another instance" dialog when starting Pilot2ATC after awakening my PC from Hibernate.  I'm using it with MSFS2020.  There's nothing that looks remotely like PIlot2ATC in the Task Manager, including the Details tab.  What does the app look for to see if another instance is running?  Is there a cryptically named task that I need to kill?

I explicitly shut down Pilot2ATC before entering Hibernate.

I've seen others report this and having to reboot every time is painful.  I'm running in trial mode currently and am interested in buying the app except for this issue.

Are you killing FSUIPC7 before you hibernate?  Are you disconnecting P2A from the SIM before you shut it down?

You could also try leaving P2A running when you hibernate.  I have done that many times without a problem.
