November 12, 200619 yr Hi,See this thread, sounds like you may have tried the texture conversion discussed there. In any case, you will want to restore the orignal textures. http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=searchHope this helps,
November 12, 200619 yr Interestingly enough, the Tenguska Blast of 1908 had the same effect in Eastern Siberia.Speculative hypothesis pointed the effect to be caused by one of the following:1. Blackhole2. UFO3. Natural H-Bomb phenomena4. Antimatter5. Electromagnetic phenomena
November 12, 200619 yr I thought they knew already that Tunguska was caused by a meteor exploding several hundred meters above the ground? However, I had to think of Tunguska the moment I looked at that screenshot, too. :D
November 12, 200619 yr The upside down tree textures are a common problem with converting your textures from DXT5 to DXT1. Not only that, there is significant degradation of your textures. Phil Taylor of ACES warned against this particular "tweak", stating that drastic quality reduction resulted from doing this, while yielding questionable performance benefits. If you backed up your original textures, the best advice would be to restore them.
November 12, 200619 yr Author Hi To all:I fixed the problem , with the info above in the thread, I converted the DDS to BMP, then back to DDS, is put everything back in prospective, and also saved some FPS.Any way it worled for me.RegardsWalouigi
