Autopilot not working after latest update

Featured Replies

Hi All

After update 5 the autopilot has not worked correctly, the problem is with the VS and altitude capture. When setting the VS the nose up button/wheel is incrementing in 328ft per min steps instead of the usual 100ft per min, and the nose down button/wheel doesn't have any effect  it doesn't bring down my VS. And finally the autopilot wont capture the altitude set in the altitude window. All this was working fine until update 5. I have no mods in my community folder except Navigraph navdata and the problem is the same across all aircraft whether it has G1000 or G3000 avionics.  I have looked on the official microsoft forum which for some reason wont let me log on so i can post on there, but cant find anyone else who seems to have the same problem. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated as this is very frustrating. Thanks in advance.

Check your units in the sim, if they're set to meters or feet.

Thanks Ed

Yes that has done the trick, i altered that thinking it only affected Barometric settings ie Hecto Pascals or US System.
