What ports does MSFS 2020 use? (port forwarding ?)

Featured Replies

I was wondering what internet ports FS 2020 uses,  and if there would be any benefit if I set up port forwarding in my router for those ports?

I'm not really informed enough to understand if there would be a benefit for FS2020,   but I found an internet page which supposedly shows the following ports,

Microsoft Flight Simulator - PC

  • TCP: 3074
  • UDP: 88,500,3074,3544,4500

Secondly,  would I be introducing a security hazard by opening ports for FS2020?

Thank you for all your opinions!

No benefit at all, as long as you've got UPnP on your router.
