Use Instrument gauges value from P3D to use in voiceattack

Featured Replies

Hi! just a beginner question, How can I get values from gauges like airspeed, altimeter etc. for use with voice attack. For example after takeoff when the VS is +500 i want voice attack to execute a command that says " positive rate gear up". I am trying to use it to get a virtual captain for ATR 72.

I think you have voiceattack backwards.  In Voiceattack you issue a voice command and Voiceattack performs an action. Not the other way around. For example, you could say "Positive Rate" and have Voicettack press the G key to raise the gear.

Yes, as I was doing more research in this I find there is a way using SPAD.NEXT.  There is a plugin that connects these two software and its possible to retrieve values from prepar3d  for use in voice attack. So far there isn’t much documentation on this. Hoping someone could provide some basic steps with a simple example. Currently I am trying to figure out how to get data from prepar3d thru spad.next.

I was not aware of the relationship between Voiceattack and spad.next  I have no idea how spad.next works.  Maybe there forums would be more helpful.
