More from the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore

Again, inspired by @Todd2 (plus I'd already got similar scenery in P3D/XP), I thought I'd check this out (Cloudsurf Asia Singapore). although in general it's a nice package, the fancy hotel with the rooftop pool is (IMO) a whole lot better in the default scenery, as below -

Trying to figure out if I can exclude the addon version of that particular building.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Wow the default has a more correct look with the trees on top.  Didn't know that the building was even included in the default as I didn't fly there till I made the purchase.

Always worth checking the default areas first. I've seen a couple of bits of payware and been interested but when I checked the default airport/area it looked as good as the sales pix on the product anyway. I suspect there's a bit of, shall we say, opportunism out there in some cases. I did look at Singapore in the native sim first, and although the features that are there are really good, there isn't a well populated city centre, so I bought the Cloudsurf Asia product. I can only assume the developers also didn't look to closely at the defaults, as there are a couple of features they replaced that were better in the original. I contacted them via their Facebook page and they say there will be an update that should sort these issues.
