November 20, 20205 yr I don't get it the Mooney flies fine but the PA44 is just one frustrating flight after another. I'm about to shelve or delete it. When I take off the plane noses down I immediately have to put on a huge amount of trim every takeoff. And the autopilot is a suicide machine. Sometimes it grabs the NAV line but usually not. When it does grab the NAV line if I hit ALT hold it dives to the ground half of the time. I'm not a happy camper. I moved half of my addon's out of the community folder to see if that helped not yet I guess I'll move the rest out. The plane is unflyable on my system. 😪 Edited November 20, 20205 yr by Todd2
November 20, 20205 yr Make sure you set elevator trim little below "N". I agree autopilot is rough, but in my short trials it works ok. I think it just behave as default autopilot would What useful load are you using? Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). November 20, 20205 yr Author Ok I'm having a decent flight but there's something strange. When the flight loads and it's time to hit "Ready to Fly" button and I press the fly button I'm on the runway as usual but the engines are shut down. I've been hitting Cntrl E to start the engines. This may be the problem. This latest flight instead of hitting the "Ready to fly" button I let the loading screens run all the way through and the engines were running when I spawned on the runway unlike before. So if I hit ready to fly the engines are not running and if I let it load till your in the cockpit the engines are running by default. Very strange but this flight is doing well. I'll experiment some more it will be a pain to wait for all the screens to load but I might have to. Edited November 20, 20205 yr by Todd2
