Tip: Eliminate Adobe PDF tools pane (when viewing TERPs)

Hi,

just thought I'd share this, in case anyone else is getting really annoyed when you open the TERPs and Adobe Reader insists on showing the tool bar and you have to hide it away every time you open an approach plate. Here's what I'm talking about:

All you have to do is to move the three files Home.aapp, Viewer.aapp and AppCenter_R.aapp located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroApp\ENU to somewhere else, so that the Reader can't find them.

The article also describes a second solution by changing a PDF reader setting to 'auto-collapse' the pane, but the only reason that I have that crappy Adobe Reader installed on my system is Pilot2ATC so I didn't mind completely disabling the pane with the above.

Now if P2ATC would only remember the last chosen Approach PDF when reopening the TERPs then it would even be more perfect 🙂
