If you have flown FSX for any length of time, either you have had a logbook failure or will get one. I've had two. As they happen randomly, I can't put a finger on what triggers one.lc0277 has come to our rescue. Sorry, I don't know a proper name to credit the program "Logbook Edit" located in the AVSIM library to, but this persons work is the handiest utility I've found so far for this problem.If you have a corrupt logbook, simply load it with the editor and then save it. It will ignore corrupt entries and allow you to continue to use your log. Now it would be a good time to save it in a backup directory.It's a crying shame that we loyal FS customers have to go to such lengths to use a product we spent good money for, but thank heaven there are souls out there that have the knowledge and skills to help us correct or patch some of MS shortcomings. My question is a dumb one. Where the H!@# is the LOGBOOK located. I've looked everywhere for it. Unless I can't see the trees for the forest. Thanks Frank

If you use the program I mentioned, it will find the logbook and open it automatically. I think that is if you installed FSX to the default location.
