Pyongyang ZKPY

Featured Replies

I found a freeware ZKPY in the Avsim Library that appears to work in P3dv5, However, the default buildings are interfering and I searched and cannot find what file to disable. Any idea as to how to disable the default ZKPY?

Cheers, Pete

Many of the default buildings and signs have moved or been changed as a result of the global airport rework LM did for P3Dv5.

That means exclusions for some of the default objects may no longer work, as the default object may be in a different place, or perhaps there is a new P3Dv5 default object that was not there in an earlier version when the scenery excludes were created.

If the exclusions are in the airport file (aka ADE/AFCAD) then you can use Airport Design Editor to import the default objects and then mass-delete them, which creates a small exclude rectangle over each excluded default object.  If the exclusions were built into a separate bgl file, then you have the more involved task of replacing that.

Fortunately, most of the freeware scenery does the exclusions in the ADE.

Thanks, I will give that a shot.
