November 22, 200619 yr If there is, I haven't been able to find it. I've always been a 2-D pilot, but with FSX I'm determined to fly v/c but I'll be darned if I can find the gear handle. I've searched and moused over the whole thing but no luck. Kind of defeats the purpose of v/c flying if you have to resort to the G key or switch to 2-D just to raise the gear. Thanks,Jim
November 22, 200619 yr Hi,The landing gear lever in the Baron v/c is hidden behing the yoke. If you move the yoke full right or left you will see it. Also, when in v/c mode, if you use the "A" key to cycle through the views you will see it. In some views I can't get it to work with the mouse but since I use the gear lever on my CH yoke, that isn't a problem.Jim
November 22, 200619 yr Author If you use tracker ir you can bend over and look at it! :-) Other way is to hit "a" key to get to a view with it.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
November 26, 200619 yr Jim,Interesting you should mention that. Here's another quirk. There's no nav/gps toggle switch in the Baron vc. Go back to the 2d cockpit and there it is, plain as day. But not in the vc. -Rick----------- My System -----------P4 @ 2.53 GHz / 1GB RAM / NVIDIA GeForce 6800XT, 256MB / Windows XP Home

I guess I can live with bringing up the 2d for the switch, but it's kind of a pain.I don't use 2d panels at all anymore. I'm totally VCthese days, and have been a good while with fs9.Thats one reason why I like FSX. They did upgrade the VC'squite a bit. Both in detail, and the night lighting and glass reflection. They don't have the light reflection on the knobs like FS9 did, but I can live with that. I wonder if there is a keyboard switch for the GPS/NAV.. I guessyou could probably assign one I suppose. :/MK Mark Keith
