A few questions

I am new to Pilot2ATC and flight simming general

i am using MSFS2020 with a navigraph sub all added to Pilot2ATC / MSFS2020 / Simbrief

i dont know if i am doing thing right but this is what i have been doing

making a plane in Simbrief copying that over to navigragraph adding sids and stars if they dont come over (and to get the charts) then using the clipboard export from navigraph to Pilot2ATC

the problem i have had is when validating the plan i sometimes get the star and appr need to be for the same runway when according to navigraph they are if i added the flight plane manually in pilot2atc it validate it without a problem this only seems to work from a new flight plan

unfortunately i did not save the flight plan to post it here will do that if it happens again is this a known problem and is there away round it? (i have ATC Assigns SIDs/STARS/Approaches unticked in ATC Options)

second problem i have is when connected to the sim pwr and connect are both green if i click on standby to bring up the little keypad i get an second icon on the taskbar under the p2a one but no keypad will appear clicking on the icon still will not bring it up

i am running windows 10 on the latest updates and pilot2atc 2020v 2.6.1.3_x64

third have added quite a few voices to pilot2atc is there away to backup the config file just incase i ever need to move or reinstall the program

thanks for your time

The normal process I use for creating a flight plan from SimBrief:

1. Create plan in SimBrief

2. Copy the text line version of the plan from SimBrief to the FPImport window of P2A

3. Import the plan and add/adjust SID, STAR and Approach as desired, or press Auto Plan and have P2A add them for me.

4. Export flight plan for whatever SIM/Aircraft I am flying

Not sure why you want the flight plan in Navigraph.

This is a Windows positioning problem whereby a window will be placed in a "Phantom" postion.  Usually happens in multi-screen environments.

1)    After pressing the Stby Com Freq, Hover over the P2A icon on the Taskbar. There should be multiple windows and one is the Radio Freq window
2)    Hover over that window and a larger thumbnail of the window should show
3)    Right-click that larger thumbnail
4)    Select Move
5)    Hold down the Right Arrow key on the keyboard until the program comes into view
6)    If that doesn’t work, hold down the left arrow
7)    Once the window is in view, use the mouse to move it to the desired location.
😎  Shut down Pilot2ATC so the location will be remembered.

The AppConfig.xml file holds all the config settings.  It is located at:

c:\users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Settings\AppConfig.xml
where <UserName> is your PC user name.

Thanks for the fast reply

Only used Navigraph for the charts will try straight from simbrief into p2a
