December 9, 20205 yr I do a lot of flying via OnAir/MSFS2020, which tends to take me to small strips without towers, and, unfortunately, any presence in simbrief/navigraph/p2a. Is there any way to make p2a handle airports that aren't in the app? OnAir lists them since it can import data from MSFS, I'm not sure if P2A has any function like this. I already did run makerunways to correct some discrepancies, but adding in missing, small airfields would be great. Examples from recent flying would be UT00, UT88, 1L1 or KPIO in the utah/nevada area as part of some OnAir trips
December 9, 20205 yr Author Apparently I managed to self-correct on this issue. It turns out that looking at the P2A map, some of the airports have differing ICAO codes. UT00 - swains creek - is listed as 1L5, and 1L1 Lincoln is K1L1. So this issue essentially is solved, though I wonder why the ICAO code differs

So this issue essentially is solved, though I wonder why the ICAO code differs There are really no official ICAO codes for a lot of these airstrips. In the UK all official ICAO codes start "EG...". US ones are the regular code used by the airlines preceded by K. I think the others are really more reference IDs possibly adopted by the strip or a guide publishing their details (like Pooleys in the UK). Also, MSFS seems to have a lot of them wrong in any case, and even has duplicates for some -- I think the latter is a result of confusion in their database over these "lesser" codes And this applies to some with official ICAO codes as well.
