MCPPRO Not working with SPADNEXT

Featured Replies

I have had problems with SPADNEXT recently, when i start Prepar 3Dv4 and use only goflight GIT all my modules work great but as soon as i start SPAD NEXT and try to use my radio panels the MCPPRO works for about 30 seconds then freezes. I then cant use MCPPRO and a couple of modules. One works great without the other but not together. I have the latest GIT and the latest GF 2.28 installed. I have uninstalled  GF2.28 and tried that with no jjoy. i would appreciate any help. I am using either PMDG or Aerosoft Airbus Professional or QW but are all the same. I run windows 10 Prepar 3Dv4.5 and i have plenty of oomph in my rig so im pretty sure its something silly or maybe it just wont work together. Appreciate your comments.

Hello William, I'm using several GF modules including MCPPRO and GF-166's with GFIT in P3Dv4, mostly without problems, one question are your radio panels from GF too, then you do not need SPAD NEXT for them to work, GF software is doing all settings - at least at my config. If there is another reason for SPAD NEXT, check your USB Ports within Windows System for power saving function, is set to ON during windows updates but should be OFF, see pollypot forum for detailed information, further they recommend USB2 connections, I have connected my MCPPRO direct to the mainboard.

Hi Ralf Thanks for your comments, I have checked my USB  settings and they are all set in the off for power saving, the radio I'm trying to use is the Saitek radio. My MCP is also connected direct to the computer. I have to say I have no problems with the GF stuff when I'm on PMDG Boeing aircraft I can use my GF46 for radio work it was only when i tried to use it to make things more realistic when I found i had problems. I also fly the Airbus set with no problems using the Saitek radio panel but without using GF. Its either one or the other on both sims, iv checked around but cant find an answer unfortunately I'm not the sharpest knife in the box when it comes to computers.

Hi William, sorry to hear - for the Spad software I have no idea, I'm using only GF modules - the GF-46 for Transponder settings and several GF-166A modules for NAV and COM, they are working out of the box with every aircraft I use. Got these GF-166's luckily as second hand bargain for small money. I can recommend the use of GF-166A for COM/NAV tuning panel in combination with the GF-46. Best regards

Hey there

Do you use both spadnext and gfit together? If yes don't forget to disable the mcppro in the spad settings...devices...goflight pnp devices. Otherwise they do interfere each other.
